UPPCS: PCS Mains-2020 from tomorrow, 5139 candidates will take the exam, the main exam will be till January 25

Additional Main Examination 2020: Combined State / Select Coordination Service (PCS) Main Examination 2020 will be held from Thursday to January 25 in Prayagraj, Lucknow and Ghaziabad. A total of 5139 candidates will appear in the main examination at 12 centers of these cities. Commission Secretary Jagdish informed that 2084 candidates will take the exam at five centers in Prayagraj, 1755 at four centers in Lucknow and 1300 at three centers in Ghaziabad.

The examination for 487 posts will be held in two shifts from 9.30 am to 12.30 am and from 2 to 5 pm. On the first day on Thursday, there will be two papers of 150-150 marks in General Hindi and Essay. Two papers of 200-200 marks of general studies first and general studies second on 22nd, two papers of 200-200 marks of general studies third and fourth studies of general studies on 23rd January and 200-200 of income topics on 25th day on last day The number will be couplets.

The preliminary examination of PCS 2020 was held on 11 October 2020 at 1282 examination centers in 19 cities. There were a total of 314699 candidates in it. The result of Pre came on 21 November in which 5393 candidates were declared successful for the main examination. But on 27 November, revised result was released in which 1131 successful candidates were declared out of the previous result and 1481 new candidates were declared successful for the main examination.

This was the first time that the Commission had revised the result of the pre-examination itself and released the result again. According to the Commission, the result of NIC was to be revised by mistake. Results have been changed due to the serial number of posts of Labor Enforcement Officer and Child Development Project Officer being found separately in advertisements and offline applications. In the result released on 21 November, a total of 5393 candidates were declared successful for the main examination but after amendment, 5535 candidates have been successful in the main examination. Although only 5139 candidates have applied for the examination, the remaining 396 candidates have not applied.
